Our Philosophy
At Tufted Tails, we focus on detailed in-home pet care, follow owner's instructions religiously, and strive for excellence in your pet's comfort and happiness. Your pet is like our child so safety is our number one priority. We understand how hard it is to leave your pets alone in someone else's care, and so we focus on following the same routine you do with your pet as one of the ways of making sure your pet is comfortable with us. Safety is also a huge priority for us as well. Arielle ensures that each dog walk is accompanied with a fanny pack that carries an airhorn in case of a coyote sighting or a potentially aggressive dog off-leash. Her goal is to protect all client's pets from danger and harm. Arielle is also meticulous about details of housekeeping on top of pet sitting. She ensures everything is locked, put away safely, and any other requests the owner has for the home.
Our Expertise
Arielle, the owner of Tufted Tails, insured and pet CPR certified works with sweet, shy, but friendly-natured dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, horses, and even fish! Arielle has grown up with cats, one horse, and a few fish. She is an experienced Newport Beach pet sitter who has cared for neighbors' dogs, cats, and rabbits. Because of Arielle's experience with horses, she can handle sweet-natured and friendly dogs of all sizes. She currently has 4 Holland Lop rabbits and 3 cats which all get along perfectly! She treats each one like a child that needs understanding, attention, and love. She also has extensive knowledge about animals and the requirements of the different species. Arielle also understands that each breed of dog has its own special needs care requirements. For instance, French Bulldogs, or any other brachycephalic breed overheat much more quickly so she takes extra caution. Also, herding dog breeds require lots of exercise and would benefit greatly from an hour or more visit with a walk for most of the visit unless if it is too hot, then most of the visit will be indoors with sufficient playtime.
